Mt family recently moved here from Michigan. What are the “rules” for trick or treating? I am hearing that trick or treating could be on the weekend even if Halloween is on a Monday. Does Blackman Farm have a specific day and time set-up? Thanks neighbors.
My parents live on Blaze Drive and I’d like to help them with the Community Yard Sale this weekend. I don’t know any of the details. Are there rules we need to follow? Where do I find details about it. Thanks!!!
I just closed on my Charleston home this week (a couple days ago) and removed the laminate countertops and sink the same night (to prepare for the granite install the next day). If you or anyone you know needs or would like a perfect, unused, carefully removed and complete Charleston kitchen’s worth of countertops let me know and make me an offer. Respond on here or email sincityjeff@gmail.com . And if anyone knows of another Blackman Farms or Centex place to post this let me know… I am obviously new here and still figuring things out.
I was just wondering if anyone knows what became of the proposal to standardize or create specs for for sale signs? Although I’m not currently selling my home, there are many in the neighborhood who are trying. In my opinion, it is much more of an eyesore to see signs taped up on people’s front doors or windows than to see a standard realtor’s sign in the yard. I’ve lived in HOA run neighborhoods all my life (12, I think!) and have never heard of a rule like this. Nevertheless – it IS a rule, that we all must follow. Just wondering where we stand with this proposed change to the rules that was discussed during the last HOA meeting I attended. It seemed, at the time, that the vast majority of people in attendance at that meeting also wanted a change to the existing rule. What steps need to take place to make that happen? Where are we now in that process?
Centex, who really controls the Homeowners Association, did not want homeowners to post any signs. I will check with Reggie Tullis at Ghertner to see if there has been any change to this and post an additional response the week of July 18th.

I just received a message from Shawn Griffith, Ghertner and Company. She stated homeowners can only post one sign in a window. Homeowners are not within the restrictions when they put signs on their lawn. So there was no change to the For Sale Sign restriction, which in my belief is a sore point with most of the homeowners.
Jamie and Sara,
This item is currently on the list of discussion points the advisory board has been looking at. We are discussing our options to make changes to the current policy and what will be the most advantageous for everyone. I know it is one thing that will be brought up at the annual meeting. It is definitely not something that has been overlooked and hopefully we can find a solution that most homeowners will be happy with.

I have a 3GHZ desktop computer with a 19 inch LCD monitor That I’d love to trade for some garage shelves. Computer has been set back to factory settings so its like new out of the box. I even installed a wireless card in it so no wires are needed if you have a wireless router. It’s a great computer I just don’t use it and want some garage shelves or maybe a eReader for it. Call me at 615-497-4240 ROB
My Son, Alex Sharp just crossed over into Boy Scouts and he and his troop (TROOP 448) will be having a Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser on April 2, 2011. He and I would like to invite you to come enjoy homemade pancakes for breakfast on Saturday, April 2, 2011 from 7:00-10:00 am. What better way to spend a Saturday morning, than enjoying pancakes that you didn’t have to make and dirty dishes that you don’t have to wash?
The purpose in this fundraiser is to help the boys raise money for their annual high adventure trip this summer.
The breakfast will be at Trinity United Methodist Church (TUMC). TUMC is located at 2303 Jones Blvd in Murfreesboro. The cost for the pancake breakfast is $5 for adults and $2 for children ages 3-12.
Tickets can be pre-purchased or you are welcome to just come join us the morning of the 2nd.
Troop 448 has helped 49 scouts become Eagle scouts since it began over 40 years ago. You can find out all about us at http://www.BSATroop448.com.
If you have any questions or need additional information or you would just like to pre-purchase tickets, please call me (Elizabeth Sharp) on my cell phone at 865-414-3495.

I have a brand new baby at home (she is a sunshine) and she and I would love to get some much needed rest. I am pleading with the owners of a very nice doggie ( I am sure) that live in Elderberry (near Country Almond way) that they do something so he or she does not bark so loud and so often during the day! I assure you I am not being a pain, but lack of sleep during the day and night can make one cranky! Thanks
